"Thou Art The God That Doest Wonders"
I find so much comfort in reading the miracles of the Saviour.
Theres something so special about miracles.
I think something that clicked for me this week is that God truly works through our struggles, weaknesses, and trials to bring to pass his greatest miracles.
Miracles are manifestations of God's power and love.
Miracles represent moments when God works with his power on behalf of his children.
I was studying the miracle in John 9 this week.
It's the moment when the Saviour finds the man that had been blind his whole life.
I thought about how this man mustve felt.
As he sat and begged. Waiting to be apart of the world. But, for so long nothing came.
I often think we see these trials and struggles in our life as an obstacle. As something that stops us from becoming something more.
We allow these things to define us, instead of refine us.
As the disciples walked with Christ to this man they asked,
"Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?"
And the Saviour responds,
"Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
As the story goes on the man is able to, through his miracle, be led to the Saviour and to follow him and be healed. And not only he was led but many were able to be led to the knowledge of the the Saviour because of his story.
Im sure this man felt frustrated not being able to do the same things other people were doing. Im sure there were moments where he wanted to give up because he didnt see the point.
But through his suffering, trials, and weaknesses he was able to bring people to the Saviour.
I wonder if he thought it was worth it?
Was it worth all those years of tears and doubt?
Those lonley moments?
I would hope so.
Because, he was a miracle.
Imagine if we looked at our struggles, weakness, and trials as an opportunity for the Saviour to work his mighty miracles?
When people look at me and my life are they able to see the miracles of Christ being manifest?
I now desire to see my weaknesses and struggles at the moment as an opportunity to bring others to Jesus Christ.
Just like this man did.
He was living proof that the Saviour works.
I yearn to be living proof that the Saviour works.
There were so many moments where i saw and felt the saviours love.
He is helping me so much.
I am witnessing miracles.
Moments i will cherish forever.
Look for him.
Seek for his miracles.
And he will astonish you.
Just like he's astonished me.
He is a "god that doest wonders"
I love you all!
I pray for you!
With love,
