There Are Angels Among Us.

I love the stillness and peace that fills the celestial room of the temple. 
This room has become a safe place for me. A place where i take my deepest questions and concerns to the Lord. It just feels right to talk to him about those things there. 
As i sat in this beautiful place this week i was astonished by the light that entered the room. The warmth of the sun on my face as i looked up at the beautiful light fixtures. 

This is heaven on earth. 

I truly believed in this moment that the angels of heaven were among us. 
Filling my soul with peace and joy. 

This peace and joy that filled my heart was exactly what i needed this week. 
I needed these angels. 
I truly believe that Gods sends us these angels. 
To walk with us. To comfort us. To fill us. 

God continued to send his angels to answer these pleas in many tender moments this week. 
When we were walking down the street where the car park was. 
2 minutes of a finding was left. 
As we began to cross the street to get the car i saw this girl in a purple jumper. 
"Just one more, we have 2 minutes"
We crossed back over the road. We tried to stop her but she carried on. 

Crossing back over the road we looked back. 
That girl in a tan jumper. 
"Just one more, we have 2 minutes." 
We began talking.
Getting to know her story. 
This was Saai. 
What a beautiful soul she is. 
We began teaching her about Jesus Christ. The parts where he suffered and died for each of us. This resonated with her. 
She explained how she knew we were sent from heaven. 
How we were exactly what she needed that day. She began to see that God does answer our deepest pleas. It is through his angels. 

There are angels among us. 

Angels came as we sat with Jill and Elena this week. Elena is in her late 60s. We met her a couple weeks ago as we were walking to the library. Her heart aches with the many struggles she has faced in her life. But, this week she prayed for the first time in 25 years! My heart rejoice just thinking of how Heavenly Father must feel to hear from one of his precious daughters again! Angels filled the room as we testified of Gods love for her. Peace overcame her worrying face. This is a message she yearns to accept. Shes beginning to see. 

There are angels are among us. 

As we began teaching Quynh this week we could feel that the sprit was ready to teach her. The words were taken from our mouths and made into something beautiful. She is beginning to see and feel something different. She yearns to know the truth. You can just feel it. This moment was sacred. Its one I will never forget. When she accepted the reality that God lives and loves her. 
Heaven is rejoicing. I could feel it. And i knew she could too. 

There are angels among us. 

I know that he knows me. 
He seeks to answer my questions. 
He loves to fill my heart with peace through his angels. 
The heavens are singing. 
I know there are angels among us.

HIYA HIYA!!!  Wow the weeks just keep getting faster and faster I can't believe it! WELCOME TO DECEMBER! In England we've been celebrating Christmas since November and I wouldn't want it any other way! I'm glad all my American peeps are up to speed now! I MADE IT TO PROVO YAYA

Bor Da my fish and chips lovers!! Wow this last week has been a blur of awesomeness:)) I finally made it to the mtc with extremely heavy luggage and a big smile on my face!  I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! There's nothing more special than being here in Provo surrounded by 1000000 missionaries. Goodbyes are hard but all I know according to my sister Rilee is that I have 514 days until I will be home in good Ole SJ:)) So not too bad... but until then I'm ready to devote my time to the lord and bring his children back!  There's so many amazing things I have learned over the last week but this email I'm going to focus on how amazing conference was!!!  Getting to watch conference at the MTC was so special. Let Us RUN With Patience The Race That Is Set Before Us.

My mission has been the ultimate race.  Its a race i felt like i trained for for a long time.  I felt ready to run.  But quickly into this race i realised that i was far from prepared.  I didnt realise how steep the climb was going to be or how many roadblocks and detours i was going to have to take and conquer.  I learned quite fast that sprinting as fast as i could wasnt going to help me win this kind of race.  Something I came on my mission with was a full backpack.  Packed full of a collection of things from over the years.  Full of doubts  Full of insecurities  Full of sadness Full of brokenness  This backpack was really heavy.  It was a backpack that was full of the wrong equipment. Despite the weight I continued to try and run.  It was then a few months into this race i realised i wouldnt be able to run anymore with this bag dragging behind me.  But its hard to let go of things youve held onto for a long time. ...
