"...Has The Day Of Miracles Ceased?"

The phrase, "...has the day of miracles ceased?" has continued to play throughout my mind this week.
I was studying Moroni 7 the other day and my eye caught hold of this phrase. Amongst all the terrible things happening in Moroni's life at this point in time he chooses to go back and reflect on his fathers words.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"

I wonder if at times Moroni had this phrase go through his mind. With all the war and contention. Losing the people he loved most.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"

I think why this question has rang through my mind so much this week is because of the people.
The ones with the broken and sad stories.
The ones without hope or belief.

We stopped them in the streets.
We sit with them in their homes.
Meet them in the libraries.
And in their own way they ask,
"...has the day of miracles ceased?"

"Nay."
We reply.

We were walking the quite road leading to this little library in Mold and we saw her. We knew she was the one the Lord had us come for. We stopped her.
She expressed her frustrations with God.

"Life just isnt fair" she says.
"...has the day of miracles ceased?"

She invited us to come to her home.
She was yearning for a message of peace and hope.
As we walked up the path to her little bungalow we prayed that she would be able to see and feel the love of the Saviour.

We sat and began teaching her.
"But why?" She exclaims.
"...has the day of miracles ceased?"

I've learned that the greatest miracles come in our waiting places.
It is in our waiting places that we begin to be acquainted with the Saviour.

Her heart began to soften as we played a hymn for her, I need thee every hour.

"Will you come back?"
"I want to find him." she whispers.

The spirit filled my eyes with tears as i began to see her in the eyes of the Saviour.
Watching her step a little closer to Him.

Thats how i know.
Through Elenas story.
On that cloudy day in Wales.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"
"Nay."

We saw this young uni girl in our minds that one morning. We felt like she needed to be taught about her purpose in God's plan.
We began searching for her all day.
Everywhere we went.

Where was she?

Many things happened that day that required us to rely and trust that the Lord was working in his vineyard.
At times i think he tests us to see if we will stay true to him until that moment we will find them.

I went to the bathroom and began to plead with him.
This was a day i also was on an exchange.
I wanted this dear sister to be able to see and experience the Saviour.
I was willing to do anything to make this happen.
In that moment i committed to the Lord that i would do anything to find the one.

As we turned the cornor around the Storyhouse i saw her.
Her. Thats the one.
We ran across the street.

"Sorry im in a rush."
"We'll make this quick"

Quynh was her name. She is from Vietnam.

30 minutes pass.
We testify to her of this plan that God has for her. Her heart began to soften.

"I have 30 minutes. Can you teach me?"

My eyes filled with tear. The Lord saw her. And led us to her.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"
"Nay"

Getting to teach an individual who has no knowledge of God and Jesus Christ is the most rewarding and spritual experience.
Quynh life is forever changed.
She knows now.
And theres nothing that will be able to take that knowledge away from her.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"
"Nay"

These experiences are sacred. I think its because it was in those moments i truly got to see and feel how aware Heavenly Father is of each of his children.
He has an individual timeline for each of us.
He is working in our waiting.
He is waiting in perform his miracles.
We just have to open our eyes.

"...has the day of miracles ceased?"
"Nay"

I love my Saviour.
I know he lives.
I know he loves me.
He is healing the hearts of many.
And i feel so blessed i get to share Him with God's children every hour of every day

With love,

Sister B
