"They Shall Prosper That Love Thee."

And there it goes! I'm in a new place with new people and a new companion! My heart is full of love! I just love being a missionary
Preston is so beautiful.
I'm surrounded by green and hills.
The people are lovely and have the most beautiful stories of change.
I absolutely adore my new companion Sister Rasmussen. She is strong and diligent! I feel so blessed that the Lord has allowed our paths to cross for a small moment!
This area is different than all the others i have served in. I've been able to really think about what the Lord needs me to do here.

As i was studying the Book of Mormon this week i recognised a trend that i never have before.
Throughout the Book of Mormon we read about these weak places. These places of struggle, hurt, and war. At times these people didn't know what else to do, no where else to turn.
But, despite it all, we see within every weak place the Lord grants an opportunity for change. And all it took was one. One who came in. Saw the potential of the place. And acted.
These leaders didn't see these places as a burdens. They saw them as opportunities to build strength. And to prepare them for what was to come.
They came in and taught the people. They worked with them. And gave them the opportunities to change. And the lands became prosperous!

As i walk the streets of Preston my heart begins to feel for these people.
As i sit in these lessons listening to our sweet friends stories i begin to see how the gospel is needed everywhere.
As i connect with these new sisters i feel the weight of my assignment.

At times i question if i will be able to do it all.
But i am quickly reminded who's feet im constantly knelt infront of.
The Saviour of the World.
Who carries the weight of it all.

All it takes it one.
One to change it all.

It is only when we begin to do it in the Saviour's way that the land begins to prosper exceedingly.

Its a beautiful promise.
And it's a miracle i yearn to be apart of.

Pray for Preston.
Pray for the people.
And pray for missionaries.

As always i feel humble to be a servant of the Lord. He has changed me. There is no where else i would rather be than here. My mission means everything to me. Because it has been here where i have found Him.

I love you all!
I pray for you always!
Tell me what you have been loving lately!

With love,
Sister B.
