His Perfect Story.

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

A phrase that has now become sacred words to me. 

Oh what a fearful thing this is. 

Putting everything into the hands of the Living God. 

There came a moment where i was sitting in MLC. For a moment I had these pictures running through my mind of everything that had happened in my life to get me sat in that chair. Sitting amoung fellow servants of the Lord. Discussing the work of the Almighty God. 

The joy.

The sadness.

The accomplishments.

The failures. 

The love. 

The heartbreak. 

All of it. 

You know, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

At times it is fear that holds us back from God's greatest miracles. 

I've seen that. 

At times i still fear. 

Over the last 11 months everything that i have ever planned for my life has changed. 

Nothing has gone to my plan. 

And that scares me. 

But, i think there is a lesson to be learned here. 

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God."

But, it is when we choose to jump we begin to see a greater story outside of our own. 

The story of the Living God.

The story he is writing. 

Its a beautiful story. 

Its one i have just began reading. 

And i love where its going.

And you know what is in his story? 

joy.

sadness.

accomplishments.

failures. 

love. 

heartbreak. 

All of it. 

His story is our story. 

We just have to see him. 

And fall. 

His hand are perfect.

And his hands write a perfect story. 

I worry at times where he's taking me. 

Its a worry i took to him this week because at times i feel like it is something that can hold me back. 

And this is what he said, 

"And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he looked upon (Sister B) whom he had chosen, and said unto (her): Remember the words which I have spoken. For behold, ye are they whom I have chosen to minister unto this people. Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 

Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin; 

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, even so will he clothe you, if ye are not of little faith. 

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 

For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. 

Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself."

"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

But, there is no need to fear because he knows what I need.

We met this kind girl on the street this week and she began telling us how she viewed her god. 

A god of disappointment. 

A god to be feared. 

A god to be avoided. 

A god full of punishment. 

My heart ached for her. But my heart rejoice in getting to share this truth that i hold so dear to my heart. 

My God.

A God love. 

A God of trust. 

A God of interest. 

A God of blessings. 

A God of deliverance. 

A God with a plan. 

A plan of love. 

Made perfectly for me. 

What a joyous truth. 

"I like your God." 

She said. 

He living. 

He is in relentless pursuit of you and i. 

I know that to be true. 

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

But, theres no one else i would rather fall to than my God. 

I love you. 

I love him. 

Fall to him.

Let him write your story. 

I know its a beautiful one.
